Chief Executive Officer
Dev Mukherjee joined the team in 2013 as chief executive officer of both BUYSEASONS and Celebrate Interactive. Prior to joining the team, he served in leadership positions within Sears Holdings Corporation, most recently as senior vice president and president of home appliances. At BUYSEASONS and Celebrate Interactive, Mukherjee leads an umbrella of specialty brands, including BuyCostumes.com, Birthday Express and Evite, which define and lead party and entertainment opportunities. Mukherjee manages the family of brands by setting the strategic direction, leveraging the strengths of each brand for optimal growth, and developing and maintaining effective execution to ensure business advancement and profitable results.
Chief Operating Officer
Terry Rowinski joined the BUYSEASONS team in 2008 as vice president of operations and was appointed chief operating officer in 2010. Prior to joining BUYSEASONS, he served in executive roles with Deutsche Post/Exel, Kohl’s Department Stores, and RedPrairie. Terry has spent most of his career in organizational development and management as well as technology and supply chain logistics roles. At BUYSEASONS, Terry is presently in charge of the company’s call center operations, distribution/fulfillment functions, digital and flexographic manufacturing, and information technology functions.
Vice President of Merchandising
Dana Palzkill joined the BUYSEASONS team in 2012 as vice president of merchandising. Prior to joining BUYSEASONS, she was the vice president of merchandising at Filson, known for its outdoor clothing, gear, and luggage; the senior vice president of merchandising at Avelle, formerly known as Bag Borrow or Steal; and the vice president of multi-channel integration / vice president of inventory management at Nordstrom. At BUYSEASONS, Palzkill leads the team of product merchandising, design, product development and licensing for costume, accessories, and party supplies.
Vice President of Marketing
Jason Lockridge joined the BUYSEASONS team in 2012 as the senior director of marketing. In February of 2013, he was promoted to his current title, vice president of marketing. Prior to BUYSEASONS, he was director of marketing at eBags.com, and the e-commerce manager at Quill.com. Jason leads the marketing team with the goals of bringing customers online to purchase costumes and birthday party necessities, providing an outstanding experience to visitors, and engaging customers during all of life’s celebrations.
Jalem Getz founded BUYSEASONS, Inc. in 1999 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer until December 2010. During that time, BUYSEASONS enjoyed a number of years of growth and became the largest online-only retailer of costumes and party supplies. Prior to starting BUYSEASONS, Getz co-founded specialty retail company GMI in 1995. During his tenure, GMI became one of Wisconsin’s fastest growing companies, and the largest seasonal retailer in Milwaukee.
