      SQL Server Database Administrator

      The SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting the company's SQL Server databases including troubleshooting, implementation of physical database changes, performance tuning, index tuning, monitoring critical events, performing backups and restores. Position will also interface with the Application Development and Operations teams.

      JOB DESCRIPTION:  Lead team of direct and indirect QA resources in a global delivery model to provide QA services to development, support and infrastructure projects. Design and deploy web-testing platform for new web systems. Design and implement scalability testing, ongoing deployment test, and other tests as determined to support all Web Development practices. Provide support for on-leave personnel including daily production testing and support. Test web projects, programs, newsletters, and other products to verify such features perform as expected, and automate repetitive testing using discretion and independent judgment. Develop and modify testing procedures as needed or requested for new features. Produce comprehensive test plans for large-scale projects and recurring projects.  Actively participate in all phases of development projects in order to maintain a comprehensive view of each project and determine use cases.

      Position:  Distribution Center (DC) Process Engineer

      Summary

      The DC Process Engineer will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and support of the engineered standards programs within the BUYSEASONS, Inc. distribution center(s).  This role will work with the distribution center management, outside vendors, associate relations, and IT support to optimize and drive results in all process improvement projects.  This individual will own all distribution focused capital projects and conduct other key improvement initiatives as directed by the Distribution Center leadership team.  The DC Process Engineer reports to the Director of Supply Chain Operations.

      Responsibilities

      • Coordinate capital projects and standards programs with the DC management team.
      • Maintain and administer the Labor Management System (LMS).
      • Maintain complete standards and methods documentation, perform all scheduled audits and perform necessary maintenance on DC standards to assure continued accuracy.
      • Improve work methods (Reducing steps, travel, non-value added time, and waste, deploying best practices, work simplification, staff planning, balancing, and identification/removal of barriers to productivity).
      • Optimize material flow (Travel reduction, process balancing, optimizing storage utilization and put-away logic, and efficient slotting).
      • Provide Operations team with necessary support and guidance for improving utilization of our resources (Direct and Indirect Labor, equipment, space, etc.)
      • Provide technical support for material handling system improvement (configuration, improved capacity, efficiency).
      • Monitor and maintain an a deep understanding of variables impacting key performance metrics, contributing input and support to team in achieving targets.
      • Provide guidance and support for cost reduction projects.
      • Participate in the Safety Program process.

      Requirements:

      • 5+ years’ experience in a direct-to-consumer or “piece pick” fulfillment operation.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or other applicable engineering degree.
      • Labor management system and standards development experience.
      • Experience with WMS/LMS software and warehouse automation technology.
      • Capital expenditure justification and working knowledge of engineering economics.
      • History of successful project management experience.
      • Past experience working with consultants and third party providers in the area of labor standards, equipment design, and facility flow preferred.

      Position:  Distribution Center (DC) Manager Fulfillment 

      Summary

      The DC Manager Fulfillment is responsible for setting the tone with strong, ethical, and people-focused leadership.  The individual will be accountable for the development, planning, preparation, performance, and recap of the fulfillment process in a large, fast-paced distribution center.  The individual’s leadership will guide the overall success of the pick, pack & ship operations, by showing the ability to analyze trends, solve problems, communicate across the organization, while motivating and developing their team.       Position:   Senior Retention Manager

      Summary 

      The Senior Retention Manager will identify opportunities to optimize branded email and overall direct response marketing from both a customer experience and business results perspective, increasing metrics and creating best in class email experiences.   This person will oversee contact management optimization efforts, planning and prioritization, reporting and analytics as well as a comprehensive creative and content enhancement effort.   The leader of the Retention Marketing Strategy and Planning group will be critical to driving overall direct marketing (including direct marketing) business and customer centric objectives.

      Summary 

      The SEO Specialist will continuously identify new ways to develop, implement and support search engine marketing strategies and programs. 

      Responsibilities

      • Coordinate search engine campaigns through all phases of launch and maintenance; including creative development, tracking, reporting, analysis and optimization.
      • Strategically leverage organic search techniques to drive relevant traffic to our sites.
      • Analyze opportunity for growing traffic on major engines, continually monitor new trends and evaluate risk/reward for implementation.

      Summary 

      As a member of the BUYSEASONS, Inc. retail ecommerce marketing team, the Brand Manager is responsible for ensuring that the BuyCostumes.com brand voice is executed consistently throughout all of our customer touch points including our ecommerce websites, catalogs, emails, and through our customer service center.  You will coordinate with our merchandising and marketing teams to ensure all products are positioned correctly with regards to BuyCostumes.com as well as within the competitive marketplace.  You will work with all teams across our organization to help determine appropriate product placement and assist in the development of an appropriate promotional strategy and calendar to ensure that  BuyCostumes.com stays consistent to the brand strategy.  Communicating the brand internally to all employees is also key. The Brand Manager will report to the Director of Brand Strategies. 

      Responsibilities 

      • Know the BuyCostumes.com brand experience inside and out and ensure that all touch points remain faithful to that brand experience. Ensure that the customer experience is all that it should be.
      • Oversee the implementation of the brand voice across all mediums and continue to monitor the voice of the brand over time.
      • Analyze competitor products, sales programs, and collateral to assist in promotional decisions.
      • Be the "passionate champion" for the BuyCostumes.com brand.  Ensure brand excellence and innovation (including from a user experience perspective). 
      • Communicate brand direction and information throughout the company (including Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, Customer Service and Information Technology) as well as to 3rd party business partners in order to maximize sales and profitability of the product lines.
      • Work closely with the Marketing team and Product Development to take part in customer feedback sessions to better understand the customer and the product line needs from a firsthand perspective.
      • Work with the Director of Brand Strategies to understand the BuyCostumes.com creative branding guidelines.
      • Continue to monitor that branding guidelines are being adhered to across all areas of the business.

      Qualifications

      • 5+ years of professional experience with a full understanding of the retail ecommerce industry, including 2+ years of brand management experience.

      Position:  Demand Planning and Inventory Analyst

       

      Summary

      The Demand Planning and Inventory Analyst plays a critical role in the supply chain by providing demand plans for inventory planning, replenishment, and merchandising.   As a Demand Planning Analyst, you will work cross functionally as part of a supply chain team to ensure forecasting strategies align with corporate direction. This information will be used to develop action plans and address changes in current trends, corporate strategies, and promotional events.   This role plays a vital part in managing the overall inventory flow as well as ensuring future forecast accuracy.  This role will also be responsible for inventory run out plans for discontinued and aged inventory and any other related reporting required to analyze the inventory. 

      Responsibilities

      • Establish weekly and monthly demand plans at multi-levels of the business  based on historical data, market intelligence, and business objectives
      • Manage and maintain any and all systems employed for forecasting and demand planning
      • Lead meetings with the Merchandising, Business Development, Marketing, and Replenishment teams to discuss sales trends, upcoming advertisements and all other event that may impact the forecast of each category
      •  Utilize a best in class forecasting tool to manage statistical forecast and analyze results to select the best forecast methods and system settings to generate the most useful results
      •  Analyze new item characteristics and work with the Merchandising and Marketing Teams to develop initial sales forecast for all new products
      • Track and report Demand plan accuracy throughout the organization
      • Develop and manage any required inventory reporting regarding inventory velocity and aging
      • Develop and manage planned run-out dates for discontinued products
      • Participate on any ad-hoc activities as assigned 

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree  in Business, statistics or related field
      • Minimum of 5 years of materials planning and/or forecasting experience
      • Demonstrated analytical skills
      • Good interpersonal and communication skills

      Customer Service Supervisor, 2nd shift

      Summary

      The Customer Service Supervisor provides leadership and direction to Customer Service Representatives by planning, organizing, and directing associates to deliver excellent and high-standard customer service support to BUYSEASONS, INC.’s customers. 

      Responsibilities 

      • Lead, motivate and support a team of Customer Service Representatives handling a combination of inbound calls, chat, email and back office services in a fast paced, highly seasonal environment.
      • Develop team members to provide outstanding service in an efficient manner through quality assurance monitoring, coaching, feedback, and training.
      • Through effective communication, recognition, and development create a supportive work environment that maximizes associate potential and minimizes turnover.
      • Resolve escalated calls and calls requiring in depth knowledge of BuySeasons’ products/services.
      • Partner with other departments, including Marketing, Merchandising, IT, and the Distribution Center to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
      • Analyze and prioritize web site and technology issues that are escalated by CSRs and customers.  Actively partner with the IT team in resolution of such issues.
      • Evaluate, prioritize, and coordinate workflow activities to meet target service levels.
      • Analyze measurable individual and team performance data and develop action plans to continuously improve.
      • Assist Training Coordinator with the design, development, and update of training materials.  Assist with the preparation of training programs that can effectively be delivered through a wide variety of mediums to support the evolution of the Department.
      • Lead training classes as needed.
      • Assist with the selection, training, and oversight of a seasonal team members. 
      • Regularly monitor phone calls, chats, and emails across all locations, providing feedback to CSRs and reporting to CS leadership.  Utilize observations from this monitoring to identify training needs and develop training materials and job aids to improve service.
      • Other duties and projects as needed.  

      Qualifications              

      • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • 1-3 years of progressive experience in a customer service environment.
      • Previous supervisory and/or training experience required.  Leadership experience in a highly seasonal environment preferred.
