• Supply Chain Management (SCM) Intern

  Position Description:

  The Supply Chain Management (SCM) intern will work in cross-functional teams to analyze supply chain performance, develop plans/business cases, and guide implementation of projects that drive throughput and cost competitive logistics for our business.

  While an intern activities may vary significantly, sample activities might include: conducting research and analysis and preparing recommendations, business process reengineering or design work, use of management reporting tools and concepts, application of quantitative data models, and preparation of business cases, creating and conducting business case presentations.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • MBA or MA/MS currently in progress,
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% to work at BUYSEAONS site (Monday- Friday) and potentially on weekends in September-October,
  • Issue based consulting skills desired.
  • Business process development, technology package implementation experience, and change management experience also highly regarded.
  • Self-starter with a passion for service excellence and solving complex business issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Aptitude to thrive in an intense team atmosphere, while defining issues/hypotheses, performing complex analysis, and assisting with preparation and recommendations of solution alternatives.
