BUYSEASONS, Inc. Named Strategic Business Partner of the Year

Milwaukee, WI - New Berlin-based BUYSEASONS today received the inaugural Strategic Business Partner of the Year award at the Future Opportunities Luncheon hosted by the Wisconsin Seasonal Workforce Coalition. The luncheon, held at Café Rouge in the Pfister Hotel, celebrated the Coalition’s success over the last year and the many employees who have benefited from it.

BUYSEASONS was recognized by the Coalition as a true example of a socially conscious employer for its efforts in assisting its 1,500 exiting seasonal associates find new work opportunities. By connecting its seasonal employees with other employers and community workforce agencies, BUYSEASONS set in place the framework for the creation of the Seasonal Workforce Coalition.

"We appreciate the hard work of all our seasonal employees that help make each Halloween season a success, and we are always looking for ways to give back to those individuals. It seemed natural to assemble other seasonal employers to provide year-round work opportunities for the seasonal workforce."

The goal of the Coalition is to help create opportunities for the underemployed and the unemployed. In its first year of existence, the Seasonal Workforce Coalition has helped hundreds of seasonal employees remain employed throughout the year. BUYSEASONS and several other companies and community-based organizations partner to identify opportunities and help connect employers with employees. Other services provided by the Coalition include resume writing assistance, interview technique seminars, job interviews and more.
